How can I overcome this?&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For your young athletes, lack of <strong>confidence<\/strong> or <strong>self-doubt<\/strong> is a big mental challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It will stop them from performing well consistently in competitions and reaching their potential because of <strong>self-doubt<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When your athletes question themselves because of what others say, it is because of their lack of ultimate or inner <strong>confidence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seth Curry, two-time most valuable player in the NBA, has this to say about ultimate confidence;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI don&#8217;t listen much to any of what anybody says about what we can or cannot do or what I can do personally. I don&#8217;t know if that&#8217;s stubbornness or ultimate self-confidence but it\u2019s just the fact that I know who I\u2019m rolling with in the locker room, we just gotta believe.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ultimate confidence is a mental skill that has helped Curry become one of the greatest shooters of all time from all over the court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"So_What_Is_Ultimate_Confidence_Made_Of\"><\/span>So What Is Ultimate Confidence Made Of?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211;Focus. It\u2019s important for sports kids to focus on the things they can control, not the words of others. This will help keep your sports kids iron strong against anything they may hear in practice or in game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211;Belief in ability to perform. Kids with ultimate confidence have an unshakable belief in their ability to produce in competition.
