Help Kids Focus and Succeed–The Focused Sports Kid

The Focused Sports Kid

The Focused Sports Kid

How often do coaches or parents say to their sports kids, “You need to focus! Get your head in the game!”

All the time!

The truth is, most sports kids get distracted. And when you hear the refrain, “Focus! Get your head in the game,” it’s because your sports kids aren’t performing up to their abilities.

They’re not concentrating on what’s needed to ensure they succeed.

But simply telling kids to concentrate doesn’t help.

Young athletes need to learn what they should be focusing on to boost their performance, enjoyment and success in sports. They need to identify the things that distract them, learn how to refocus and understand what they should be focusing on.

For example, kids should learn about the all-important “performance cues”—thoughts, feelings, communication with team mates and other tidbits of information—that help them perform well.

They need to identify the performance cues that are associated with their specific sport.

While they’re identifying their performance cues, parents and coaches need to identify the things they do that distract their young athletes.

For example, adults’ over-coaching or yelling from the sidelines is a common distraction for young athletes.

We help you and your young athletes learn all about how to boost kids’ focus in our new program, “The Focused Sports Kid.”

Focus is one of the most important issues that contributes to kids’ enjoyment and success in sports. Help your kids learn how to “get in the zone,” have fun and boost their performance!

Your athletes will benefit from our new program if:

  • They have trouble refocusing once they get off-task.
  • They get sidetracked by things going on around them.
  • They dwell on past mistakes or can’t focus in the moment.

If a lack of focus affects your kids’ performance or you just want them to learn how to improve focus, then race over to Peaksports.com and check out “The Focused Sports Kid” program.
